Application of Terms and Conditions

The Supplier shall supply and the Customer shall purchase the Goods and Services in accordance with the quotation which shall be subject to these Terms and Conditions; and The Contract shall be to the exclusion of any other terms and conditions subject to which any such quotation is accepted or purported to be accepted, or any such order is made or purported to be made, by the Customer.

We offer a range of payment options to make your purchase as convenient as possible.

Currency

We accept payments in most major currencies, though our preferred currency is Singapore Dollars (SGD). Payments made in other currencies may be subject to additional bank or conversion charges.

How to Pay
  • Bank / Wire Transfer – Instruct your bank to transfer the full invoice amount. Please ensure you reference the invoice number with your payment.
  • PayPal – Payments can be made to admin@plcautomat.com
  • Cheque – All cheques should be made payable to PLC Automation Pte Ltd.
  • Other Methods – For alternative arrangements, please contact our sales team.
Payment Terms & Conditions
  • Payment Obligation – All payments must be made strictly as stated on the invoice.
  • Bank Charges – Any local or international bank charges are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Retention of Title – Ownership of goods remains with PLC Automation until full payment has been received. Risk transfers to the customer upon delivery or collection.
  • Invoice Disputes – Any disputes must be submitted in writing within 5 days of invoice receipt.
  • Warranty – A standard 12-month warranty applies to all goods supplied.
  • Cancellations – Orders cannot be cancelled once invoiced without written consent. Cancellation charges may apply.
  • Refunds & Exchanges – No refunds will be issued. Exchanges or replacements will be provided for defective or incorrect goods. Refunds will only be considered if an exchange is not possible.
  • Late Payment – Overdue accounts will attract interest at 1.5% per month (or the maximum permitted by law) until full settlement is received.
  • Liability – PLC Automation accepts no liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

Official Shipping Partners

Our official logistics partner is FedEx, whose advanced global network provides time-definite solutions to more than 220 countries and territories. For details of available services in specific regions, please visit the FedEx website. On occasion, we may use alternative carriers for logistical or operational reasons.

Dispatch Times

All stock items are shipped from one of our warehouses within 24 hours of receipt of payment. Delivery times are detailed on all quotations, and various options are available, including Next Day Delivery to many locations. For urgent requirements, we also offer time-definite and Saturday deliveries.

Delivery Options
  • Express Delivery

    Because we understand how costly and disruptive downtime can be, we provide worldwide express delivery on all products. Through our network of partner warehouses and distribution centres, we are able to offer a unique, fast-response service across the globe.

  • Arrange Your Own Shipping

    Customers may choose to arrange their own shipping. In such cases, a packing and handling fee may apply. Please contact our sales team with your carrier’s account details and service level requirements, and we will coordinate accordingly.

    Note: PLC Automation accepts no responsibility for goods lost or damaged in transit if you choose your own carrier. Any such claims must be resolved directly with your shipping provider.
Customs & Duties

All local customs charges, import duties, and taxes are the sole responsibility of the customer. PLC Automation will not be liable for any such charges, and it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with their country’s import regulations.

Order Issues
  • Missing or delayed order – Delivery usually takes 1–4 working days from receipt of payment, depending on the option chosen. We will notify you of any delays. If you believe your item has been lost or delayed, please contact us.
  • Item temporarily out of stock – If stock is temporarily unavailable, we will hold your order and ship as soon as replacement stock is received.
  • Item unavailable/discontinued – If a product is unexpectedly discontinued by the manufacturer, we will contact you immediately. If no suitable alternative can be provided, we will issue a full refund of any payment already made.
  • Payment declined/not received – If we cannot process payment, we will notify you and request updated details.
Delivery Terms & Conditions
  • Goods are new unless otherwise stated.
  • Risk passes to the customer upon delivery or collection, regardless of payment status.
  • Goods must be inspected immediately upon receipt; any discrepancies must be reported in writing within 05 days.
  • Faulty or incorrect goods must be reported within 05 days and returned in their original packaging with prior authorization.
  • No refunds will be provided. Exchanges or replacements will be arranged; refunds will only apply if an exchange is not possible.
  • PLC Automation shall not be liable for delays caused by events beyond its control.
  • Liability for claims is limited to the invoice value of the goods delivered.

We offer a full 12 Months return-to-base warranty on all reconditioned, service exchange and new parts. So, if you have any problems within 12 months from the date of delivery then please contact our Admin Support Team who will be happy to help and explain what you need to do next.

Customers are required to test all items within 07 days of receipt. This ensures any functional issues are identified promptly. Claims raised after this period for goods not tested upon delivery may not be accepted.

Should any product supplied by PLC Automation fail within the first 07 days we will replace your item with an equivalent part. If no equivalent part can be found, then we will refund the amount you originally paid including any carriage charges.

If a problem occurs after the initial 07 days our standard warranty terms apply.

  • Repair, Replace, Refund
  • In the first instance we will always try to repair your existing part in one of our repair centres or local repair partners. If a repair is not possible or will take too long, then we would replace your item with an equivalent part. If no equivalent part can be found, then we will refund the amount you originally paid including any carriage charges.

  • Reconditioned, Service Exchange & New Products

    Unless stated otherwise, all products supplied by us are guaranteed to be in working condition and are covered by our 12-month return-to-base warranty. All warranties are issued by us, not the manufacturer, and will be honoured by us. If the item fails within 12 months from the date of delivery, please return it for a free repair or replacement.

    Our liability shall be limited to the repair or replacement, at our choice, of any such defective product free of charge to our customer. If we decide that the product cannot be repaired or replaced, we will refund an amount equal to the sum you originally paid.

    In no event shall we be liable for any damages except actual damages up to, but not exceeding, the amount paid to us. We shall not be liable for any consequential or indirect damages or loss of profits.

  • Repairs

    Unless stated otherwise, all products repaired by us are guaranteed to be free from defect in workmanship and materials and are covered by our 12-month return-to-base warranty (subject to normal storage, handling and installation conditions). If the item fails within 12 months from the date of delivery, please return it for a free replacement or repair.

    Our liability shall be limited to the repair or replacement, at our choice, of any such defective product free of charge to our customer. If we decide that the product cannot be repaired or replaced, we will credit your account in an amount equal to the sum you originally paid.

    In no event shall we be liable for any damages except actual damages up to, but not exceeding, the amount paid to us. We shall not be liable for any consequential or indirect damages or loss of profits.

    All faulty units will be inspected and tested upon their return. If found not to be faulty, or if the fault was diagnosed to be caused after PLC Automation had delivered them, testing fees and penalty charges may be incurred. These will be at the discretion of PLC Automation.

All items supplied or repaired by us are fully tested and carefully packed before shipping, including the use of anti-static bags/wrapping where applicable. If we receive no communication from you, within 05 days of delivery, regarding any problems with the items, you are deemed to have received the items in full working order and with no problems.

If you wish to return an item for any reason this should be reported to us within 05 days of delivery. You then have a further 07 days to return the item, with all packaging and documentation, for assessment/inspection.

Should you wish to return an item for any other reason than stated below we must be informed of the return and reason for return in writing within 05 days of receipt of the item. You then have a further 07 days to return the item in the original condition and packaging which will enable them to be immediately fit for re-sale. Returns of this nature will be subject to a 35% re-stocking fee..

We will only authorise the return of an item in the following cases:
  • Faulty when received

    We offer a full 12 Months return-to-base warranty on all reconditioned, service exchange and new parts. If you have any problems within 12 months from the date of delivery, please contact our Admin Support Team. Please see our warranty page for full terms and conditions.

  • Damaged in transit

    If items are damaged in transit this should be reported to us within 05 days so we can provide you with a replacement unit. If there is no availability for a replacement, the price of the items, as paid, will be refunded through the payment method used when the items were purchased

    The Customer should not return any damaged items until they are instructed to do so by PLC Automation as they may be subject to inspection from the courier company. If you suspect your order has been damaged in transit, PLC Automation will require photos of this damage to use as evidence in any claims.

  • Incorrect item

    If you receive items which do not match those ordered, you should contact us within 05 days to arrange collection and return.

This returns policy excludes software and specially / customised manufactured products.
